Evolving Our Wealth
Think of consciousness as the collective experience, knowledge, wisdom and insight of humanity and you'll be able to see the very tip of its nature. It is our full collective past in the blossom of this very moment. It is everything that every one of us knows and is. It's also the energy and light behind all that.
Of course, those of us who are broadminded know immediately that consciousness is not just limited to humans. Dogs have it, plants have it, the planet has it, energy has it, the very universe has it... in fact, we are INSIDE it. The reason I am focusing on the human tip of consciousness is that our collective experience is a new thing in the vast evolution of consciousness, and it has an amazing twist.
The 'evolution of consiousness' is talking about a leap. It means that we as human beings are using our own conscious awareness ON PURPOSE to evolve that very awareness. It means that we have seen the tip of the iceberg, know that it is us, and through that vision gain a deep passion to collectively reach our full potential.
This is the very evolution of the idea that 'all is one.' We are not separate skin suits each with a consciousness. We are now aware of our collective nature, and willing to push that very collective nature forward.
This is personal growth on steriods. It's the overpowering realization that every leap forward by an individual is another molecule of consciousness moving forward and evolving. The philosophers have been pushing forward for centuries. The hippies did it in the sixties. Peace movements are trying to do it. Civil rights movements are trying to do it. Global warming coalitions are trying to do it.
But forward movement without conscious intention is still regular evolution. It's a linear evolution of culture and thought. It's an exciting venture, an inspiring vision, but the wheels aren't greased. We are like a rusty machine spewing out black smoke and moving slow. It's when a person dissolves their identity into the vastness of the whole thing, and grasps the vision of consciousness evolving itself, collectively and on purpose-- that an explosion of purpose and confidence occurs.
We need every tool, every resource at our fingers for this enormous job. Once the vision is grasped, we see the things that are holding us back, and don't want to be held back!
I've been battling with money holding me back, and can now see clearly that it is holding us all back collectively. It's really a huge, collective, problem. The leading edge of consciousness cannot move forward because the majority of people drawn to it have a drop out philosophy. We follow Thoreau, not Trump, and we are stubbornly unwilling to take a wide angled view of our conditionings around money.
The result of this has been a poverty mentality in many of the seekers, artists, and visionaries of our time. Even though we watch "The Secret", do affirmations on prosperity, and wish for something big, we don't face the reality of evolving our attitudes into the very principals of wealth that the egotistical find to be quite simple. We are missing out.
Consciousness cannot evolve without a corresponding evolution of money: the way we use it, the way we get it, WHO gets it and how easy the right people get it. Our consciousness is totally entwined with our money. We can't evolve one thing without the other. Money is ALWAYS collective, so it is the perfect vehicle for our collective evolution.
IN FACT... the evolution of consciousness IS the evolution of economics. They are so entwined that there is no separation. The "Enlightenment" occurred after the dark ages because of funding (mostly of one family fortune!). All of our present situations, all of our present consciousness is possible because of our highly evolved wealth as industrial nations and the corresponding education and lifestyles available.
Still, even with all this, money is holding us back big time. On one hand actual bank account balances are holding people back, and on the other hand, our attitudes about money are paralyzing us.
I think it is time to tackle this head on, not just with theories but with real principals and opportunities. So read on, dear reader, and be prepared to actually DO something to help not only just yourself, but all of us.
